Schroders’ new Sydney workplace reflects a thoughtful balance between global workplace principles and a design that is distinctly connected to its local context. Designed by Gray Puksand in collaboration with Schroders’ global and local teams, the workplace brings together flexible work settings, collaborative spaces and hospitality-inspired environments that encourage people to connect. Sustainability also played a key role in the design, with repurposed furniture, low VOC materials and energy-efficient lighting contributing to a high performing workplace that supports both wellbeing and long term value.

Jadecross was proud to support DBS Consulting with the selection and supply of UltimaMax stretch ceilings for a key architectural feature within the reception and client waiting area. Positioned above the breakout space, the custom curved square illuminated ceiling feature creates a striking focal point that welcomes visitors on arrival while establishing the tone for the workplace beyond.

Rather than acting solely as a light source, the UltimaMax feature becomes an architectural element in its own right. Its seamless, evenly illuminated surface accentuates the sculptural form, adding depth and visual interest while reinforcing the clean, refined aesthetic of the fitout. The soft, uniform illumination contributes to a warm and inviting atmosphere, complementing Gray Puksand’s vision of a workplace centred on connection, flexibility and the overall user experience.
