Jadecross was pleased to support Aston Consulting with the delivery of a bespoke lighting solution for the new Sky News Australia.

As part of the project, Aston Consulting specified a suspended lighting solution that would create a strong visual element above the newsroom workstations while supporting the functional needs of the workplace. Working alongside  ELS, we developed a custom SL30 direct and indirect suspended profile to achieve the required grid configurations.

To support the design intent, the team developed custom 3D printed module brackets that enabled through wiring between profiles, allowing the different square configurations to be assembled while maintaining a clean and refined finish.

The solution was locally manufactured and delivered within a tight timeframe, demonstrating the value of close collaboration, clear communication and a shared focus on delivering the right outcome for the project. Through technical development and careful coordination, we were able to support Aston Consulting in bringing their vision for the space to life.

The project highlights the importance of collaboration and flexibility when developing custom lighting solutions. By working closely with Aston Consulting and ELS, the final installation was able to achieve the desired aesthetic while meeting the practical requirements of the workplace environment.
