Cox Architecture’s approach emphasises modernity and sustainability, with sleek, geometric structures that harmonise with Parramatta’s urban landscape. Each station is meticulously crafted to optimise passenger flow and comfort, featuring spacious platforms, intuitive wayfinding systems, and barrier-free accessibility. The architectural design not only prioritises functionality but also embodies a distinctive aesthetic that reflects Western Sydney’s dynamic character.
Complementing Cox Architecture’s vision, WSP’s expertise adds a layer of sophistication and performance to the rail stops. Strategically placed lighting elements enhance visibility and security, creating a welcoming environment for commuters at all hours. Introducing a custom lighting solution binding Ligman’s advanced luminaire technology with a utilitarian totem pole, specifically designed for the Parramatta rail stops. WSP collaborated with Jadecross to find a solution to advance the urban landscape with their innovative luminaire design. This new post top luminaire enhances the aesthetic appeal of the rail stops but also exemplifies WSP and Jadecross’ commitment to merging advanced technology with architecture, setting a new standard for urban lighting solutions in Western Sydney.
