Grant Thornton has unveiled its new Sydney office at Grosvenor Place, designed to foster agility and collaboration. Completed in 2024, the project was led by FDC Construction & Fitout with key collaborators Sandstone Project Management, Bates Smart, and Aston Consulting Engineers.
Jadecross is proud to have supported Aston Consulting Engineers to deliver a tailored lighting solution that enhances the functionality and aesthetics of this modern workspace. A variety of high-quality lighting instruments were carefully selected to achieve a combination of ambiance and performance.
Boasting a beautiful natural palette of finishes, the reception and meeting rooms feature IKU luminaires by ERCO, providing efficient and comfortable illumination that enhances visibility and reduces glare, ensuring an optimal working environment. Their wide flood distribution offers uniform lighting, ideal for collaborative spaces where clarity and focus are key.
In the Quiet Rooms, System Kanal was employed to provide seamless integration, while Coolon was used to up-light the lockers and joinery, adding a layer of warmth and sophistication. To achieve the ideal balance of task and ambient lighting, Flex wall washers by ELS were incorporated into the meeting rooms, ensuring even and comfortable illumination.
For areas requiring a more intricate lighting approach, Led Flex’s Ultimo Neon was used to highlight curved pelmets and joinery, delivering a sleek and contemporary aesthetic.
Jadecross is delighted to have played a role in bringing this vision to life, ensuring that Grant Thornton’s new Sydney office is not only visually stunning but also functionally exceptional.
