Once deemed Sydney’s tallest skyscraper in 2019 , Chifley Tower occupies the city’s most expensive block of land, originally bought by Alan Bond for a monumental $306 million in 1988.

In 2017, English architecture firm Foster + Partners won an international design competition to design one of Sydney’s newest commercial towers. With an ambition to achieve a Greenstar rating of 6, Salesforce Tower will not only be a centrepiece to Sydney’s skyline but an incredible example of environmental sustainability within the building and design industry. Soaring above the CBD skyline, Salesforce Tower will be Sydney’s tallest office tower sitting at 263m in height, elevating the City’s skyline.

As part of Central Station's biggest upgrade in decades, the project is preparing for cutting edge driverless trains along with an influx of an incredible 450,000 customers a day.

Otherwise known as Quay Quarter Tower, 50 Bridge Street is one of Danish architectural firm 3XN's most dynamic collaborations as they team up with Australia’s architectural firm, BVN. Their realised vision was for the project to include a 50 storey office tower which overlooks Sydney’s acclaimed Opera House.

As we celebrate our 30th anniversary reflecting on some of our most adored projects, the Art Gallery of NSW comes to mind as a much loved favourite.

As we near the end of moving through some of our most memorable past projects, Ngununggulla couldn't be missed. A project which was unveiled last year, Ngununggulla features a strong collection of luminaires which elevate and emphasise the artistic talent that lies within this exceptional gallery space.

Representing a uniquely diverse cross section of brands means we've been able to meet our clients' briefs using the right tools. 40 Miller St was an example of where we were able to combine an effective collection of luminaires for the project.

Celebrating 30 Years of Jadecross, we are proud to be looking over some of our past projects and recognising the diverse nature of our work. St Marks Catholic College was a performance hub which put creativity and education at the forefront.

Celebrating our 30th year of Jadecross, we're delighted to look back on some of our earlier projects. Gateway Lounge was a beautiful, sophisticated space in which we had the opportunity to lean into creativity and play on the curves that fill the high end business lounge.

The University of Sydney's Chau Chak Wing Museum, designed by architects JPW houses a collection of the University's works as well as an array of archaeological and historical material from across the globe. Carefully illuminating such a diverse and valuable collection of pieces came with its complexities and called for both specialist lighting along with the expertise of lighting designers, Steensen Varming. Tracking through our archives as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, Chau Chak Wing Museum was an outstanding project execution from start to finish.

The Royal Botanical Gardens’ Calyx opened in June 2016 to mark their 200 year birthday. Built around the site of the Arc Glasshouse in the south western corner of the gardens, The Calyx which was designed by PTW is an integrated mix of indoor and outdoor areas. This facility has been designed as an extension of the arc. Allowing the display and multipurpose spaces to open up as one space or remain as individual spaces.

With environmental sustainability at the heart of so many design briefs today, looking back at the Coal Loader, this project stands out as an exceptional example of considered environmental design. One in which we are so proud to have been a part of.

Spread across 21 floors in Sydney’s historic Roden Cutler House, the Ausgrid redevelopment was completed over three stages and involved Aston Consulting and Group GSA at Fitout stage and VOS Group and Lo Studio over the Base Build. As we look over some of our past projects to celebrate our 30th year anniversary, Ausgrid stands out as a highly developed and intricate project which we had the pleasure of being involved in.

The challenge for the lighting designers (Aurecon) was to provide a highly functional space for security but also to maintain an upmarket ambience to entice shoppers to spend more time in the area. The architect had provided black troughs in the ceiling to hide the light sources away for a glare-free environment which was achieved by using the superior ERCO lens technology so there was no spill light on the edges of the troughs and great optical cut-off.

Tracking through the archives, Interloop was a project where function and form were both met with an abundance of imagination.

This year, we have the privilege of celebrating our 30th anniversary as architectural lighting specialists.

As we journey through some of the archives to celebrate 30 years of Jadecross, this creative production studio was a seamless project which we had the pleasure of using a curated selection of brands that we represent throughout it.

As part of the much anticipated Sydney Modern Project for the AGNSW was the revival of architect Walter Liberty Vernon's original historical building. Included in the restoration was the gallery's Grand Courts, showcasing a permanent collection of both Indigenous and non-Indigenous art.

Light is ERCO's contribution to making society and architecture better and, at the same time, preserving our environment. Understanding light as the fourth dimension of architecture – and thus as an integral part of sustainable building. ERCO Greenology as a term combines ecological responsibility with technological expertise and is our strategy for sustainable lighting. Innovation, efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability are the four pillars of this strategy. Our goal is the CO2 neutral production of lighting tools to make light as effective and therefore as sustainable as possible in application.

The LIGMAN Quantum is a powerful and compact IP66 rated gobo projector. Featuring a high quality lens that produces a clear intense beam and three optional forward-lens focal lengths. Quantam accepts size-M standard gobos and utilises easy access for changing the gobo on site.

An idea conceptualised by Archibald winner Ben Quilty, The Southern Highlands Regional Art Gallery is the first regional art gallery in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Aptly named Ngunungulla, meaning ‘belonging’ in the traditional language of the Gundungurra First Nation People, was a labour of love as supporters worked hard to raise money and seek government grants for the non-for-profit cultural initiative located in Bowral.

Coolon uses state-of-the-art technology to encapsulate their products that are specified for use outdoors and in demanding environments to make sure that the luminaires deliver not only enchanting light, but years of uninterrupted performance.

Designed by Morson Group Architects, St Marks Catholic College Performance Hub is an ambitious multi-purpose centre dedicated to an environment for those students who want to thrive in theatre, dance and music.
